Turning a Festival Video into Asbury View (Comm 450)

Now in the previous blog I was talking about the Summer Solstice video and how I edited it together. However, the process doesn’t end there now after how the video made I needed to convert it into the program for Asbury View as section of the program. Now this doesn’t change the edits that made previously in the project but see it in the program others shows have to added in to be turned into Asbury View.

This is due to the length of the video not reaching the timeframe that which is around a half hour time frame, but can be extend over this timeframe if necessary.  This can happen due to few reasons the main Asbury View show had a lot of talk points for the day or the interview with the guest had great conversation points which brought about more information on the guest and their parts they do for Asbury. Now from time to time Asbury has Board member meeting every few months to give an update on what going on at Asbury and the recent projects or new projects that are being consider or in the works to let the residents know what going on to expect in future at Asbury. AVTV records the event so learned about the setup and equipment necessary to make the meeting recordable. The basic equipment to make a recording for this meeting was a single camera, tripod stand, memory card, and transmitter to connect to the microphone. Now the transmitter connected to a mic that the speakers use during the meeting for the camera to directly record the voice instead just catching it through boom mic on the camera the transmitter can help record the voice directly by synching the transmitter and the mic to the same frequency if this doesn’t happen then the camera will only record sound from the external mic. Overall simple setup but learn about another recording way for sound during this meeting and consider its uses for future projects.
