Academic Resource (Spectres of the Self: thinking about ghosts and ghost-seeing)
The start of ghost heads us back to medieval ages where the thoughts of their exist was simpler then our current thinking of ghost. Back then ghost were consider part of the natural order of the spiritual world and thought as a natural possibility to experience. People back in the medieval times explain their exist as their type of purgatory and where they were found was the areas they committed their sins. However, those people that believed this later during the time where thought as part of witchcraft or the work of demonology so the church and others activity worked on burnt or hanged for their beliefs. As time went pass the thoughts of ghost were seen as mad illusion or psychological wish of the person they wanted to see that passed away. As of today we view ghosts in different light. We try to use the idea of ghost to try and recorded visual or audio data to record the possibility that they exist. We now have people activity trying to find ghost or help people experiencing ghostly visit that disrupt daily lives and find out what causing then. So from true belief of the past to now is vastly different we ok with accepting the idea but no idea if its true or not.
